Choose the Pursuit
Chase gold, safety, status, a new spell, a dangerous victory, an Oath, a favor, property, or whatever matters to your class.

About the game
A fantasy tabletop RPG of ambition, power, survival, and dangerous opportunity.
Roseheart GamesThe heart of the game
Days of Gold is a fantasy sandbox where you decide what is worth pursuing. There is no adventure you are required to follow, and no reason every character has to want the same thing or remain together as a permanent party.
One character may manage a business while another tends a community, works through a Contact, or searches for someone worth fighting. Those separate lives move forward and eventually collide.
Chase gold, safety, status, a new spell, a dangerous victory, an Oath, a favor, property, or whatever matters to your class.
Gold leaves your purse. Followers need wages. Reputation rises and falls. Hunger matters, and Harm is dangerous.
Friends, rivals, businesses, promises, victories, failures, and ambitions stick around and become tomorrow's problems and opportunities.
Using the site
Create characters before you need them, keep them safe in your Vault, and bring the right one into a Game when it is time to play. The rest of the site keeps the rules, shopping, and dice close at hand.
Build a character with Guided or Quick Creation, keep the sheet in your private Vault, and export a backup when you finish. Vault characters stay independent until you choose to bring one into a Game.
Open Character Vault 02Create a public or private Game and you become its GM. Share invitation links with players or co-GMs, then manage the table while everyone keeps ownership of their own Vault characters.
Create a Game 03Use a GM's invitation link to join a private Game, or browse public Games and request a place. Once you are in, pull a character from your Vault directly into that Game.
Find a Game 04Spend gold to your heart's content. Shop between sessions for the gear, services, followers, property, and opportunities that fuel the game and your character's desires.
Browse Marketplace 05Search the rules, jump directly to a move, and keep the table-ready reference close whenever a question comes up during play.
Read the Rules 06Open a Game's Dice tab to roll 2d6 with a modifier and see the result band. GMs and co-GMs also have private Game Tools for names, encounters, discoveries, moves, rewards, and motivations.
Open your GamesThere are no levels. You do things, earn gold, and spend it to grow your character. Hire followers, buy services and property, bribe people, acquire better gear, and purchase additional Class Perks. Gold is the key to becoming more capable and influential.
Seven playable classes
Each class is intentionally powerful in a different way. Characters are not expected to solve the same problems or contribute in the same way.
Build a household that turns wealth, property, guards, and loyal retainers into real power. The Lord excels by commanding resources and making the world come to them.
View class 02Swear Oaths worth risking everything for and earn extraordinary rewards when you see them through. The Knight protects, duels, and serves with purpose.
View class 03Win fights no one expects you to survive and turn those victories into Renown. The Warrior is direct, dangerous, and built to make a name through battle.
View class 04Invent the spells you wish existed and make an Arcane Sanctuary into a true place of power. The Wizard solves impossible problems through preparation and imagination.
View class 05Build a bond with the wild through beasts, healing, and a Grove that can become sanctuary anywhere. The Druid makes nature feel alive, useful, and ready to answer.
View class 06Call on a network of specialists to find work, gain access, and solve problems from the shadows. The Rogue always knows someone who can help—for a price.
View class 07Lead a living faith whose followers travel with you and shape the world through belief, rites, and judgment. The Priest turns conviction into influence and divine authority.
